Title : Preparations for second-order self-force calculations

Abstract : The study of second-order self-force perturbations is a budding field of research, one which will certainly expand with the recent LIGO detection event and the positive performance results from LISA Pathfinder. This progress talk outlines my work in bringing the second-order formalism introduced by Samuel Gralla to a state of computational readiness. My work currently focuses on achieving first-order results with Gralla’s formalism in solving one of the simplest problems for gravity : circular orbits in Schwarzschild.
